CANDLE & VESSEL CARE

A quick guide to help you get started (safely) and maximize your boojee scented candle experience

  • Step 1:
Remove candle refill from cup container.

Please see the refill cup container for details on how to best remove the candle refill.

  • Step 2:

Place candle refill into an empty boojee ceramic vessel.

When reusing your boojee vessel, ensure that the ceramic vessel is clean and emptied of all leftover wax (see below section on further details on how to clean your vessel).

  • Step 3:

Before burning, ensure that the candle refill is touching the base of the vessel.

Always burn within sight and follow the safety instructions found on the bottom of the vessel and refill cup container.

Helpful Tips

On initial use, let the wax melt completely across the surface. Don't worry about any residual wax on the sides, it will melt. Try to burn the candle for 3-4 hours, always on a heat-resistant surface. Allow to cool before relighting.

Trim the wick to 1/4" before each lighting to ensure a clean and smoke free burn.

After each burning session, when the wax is still liquid, adjust the wick to the center.

When roughly 1/2" of wax remains, stop using the candle. Pop out the wax, remove any that's leftover, clean the vessel and reuse it with a new boojee refill. See section below on how to best remove wax from your vessel.

VESSEL CLEANING

Remove any remaining wax and residue from your vessel when your candle is 'done.' This is how to best prepare it for reuse and a new candle refill.

Freezing: After the candle has cooled, place it in the freezer for a few hours.

Thawing: Remove the candle from the freezer and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Wax Removal: Turn the vessel upside down and tap the bottom to dislodge the frozen wax. Use a spoon for assistance if needed.

Cleaning: Clean the inside of the vessel with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Reuse: Once the vessel is empty, clean, and dry, simply place a new boojee candle refill in the vessel
